Definition of Journalism Art

Traditionally, Journalism has always been associated with the profession of writing newspaper or magazines. However, in the contemporary era, Journalism has evolved further away from being just only on the paper. While retaining its duty of reporting facts, Journalism has appeared on many social media platforms, as well as in many forms, vary from plain text to photo or even video.

Undeniably, art plays an important role in today’s Journalism. Hence, it is arguably possible to define the Art of Journalism as an application of human creativity in factual reportage.

JAC’s Ideology

JAC promotes equality among all members regardless of their age, gender, sexual preference, nationality, ethnicity, social status, political beliefs, or religion.

JAC promotes the practice of democracy among all members.

JAC promotes original creativity. The act of plagiarism is unacceptable and would result in permanent ban.

JAC promotes environmental sustainability. All activities done must be environmental friendly, and the environment should always be one of the main priorities.

JAC is not profit seeking. The use of all profit made by JAC’s activity must be decided democratically by all members.
